Tibet..."Biking to the Roof of the World" Tour
Tibet - for centuries, this sacred land has exerted a magnetic pull on adventurous travelers from all over the world, including spies, missionaries, scholars, geographers, conquerers, mystics, and cranks. This tour takes you over high passes and to the Everest Base Camp. At 17,600 feet (5,360 metres), you will truly be on top of the world!
This tour is designed especially for adventurers and enthusiasts who have a passion for biking. We will ride Royal Enfield 500cc's, accompanied by a full support vehicle and support staff, including our own mechanic. While our lodging will certainly be comfortable, it will be rustic, not luxurious - some nights we will find ourselves camping in tents. A spirit for adventure is crucial!
